Packaging such as plastic trays pollute the environment. However, they also make it possible to conserve a product for a much longer period of time and therefore reduce food wastage. This reduction of food waste has an impact on the environment which is between 3 and 100 times higher than that of the reduction in packaging. Our goal today is to be able to replace as much packaging as possible in the short term with materials that are environmentally-friendly, recycled and/or biodegradable. In addition to replacing these materials, we also want our packaging to be of excellent quality. Our cardboard and paper boxes are ecological and recyclable, and allow you to carry your meals conveniently. Our ‘on-the-go’ sets of cutlery go even further - as they are made of renewable biomass materials such as corn starch, potato starch or bamboo, they are biodegradable. Moreover, we encourage our customers to use reusable packaging such as plastic or glass containers.
